After waiting for snow for much of the winter, I finally gave in and drove up into our local mountains in search of the precious white powder!
After a great day and many worth while captures, this was the final shot, with a polarizer filter in raw mode. Taken during the last half hour of sunlight. This final edit is just 50% of the full frame landscape.
Only very light processing was needed to enrich and warm.
Muscatel ~ Opacity ~ Vivid light @ 9%
Final curves were used to enhance.

This is beautiful!!!
This is gorgeous. I used your same formula on my post for tomorrow, although I also added Pompeii Stucco (rotated and desaturated) to give a little more texture.
Cool, thanks!:-)
Glad you're experimenting, I didn't try the Stucco, but might give it a go with the next one, there will of course be many more from this batch! :-)
I agree..beautiful with the golden light, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest :-)

Fantastic! As much as I enjoy the painterly/Pictorialist effects that I get with your textures, I'm still working on being more "subtle". You managed to add a golden light, but in a way that is far different from a "digital warming filter". Looking forward to seeing the results of your further expirementing and trying it out myself.
